Who it suits
Weimerskirch is one of Luxembourg City's smallest quarters, tucked in the valley directly below the Kirchberg plateau's north edge. It suits travellers renting an apartment or B&B who want village calm within striking distance of Kirchberg (bus or walk up in 15 minutes) and a bicycle-friendly base — the national cycle network passes through the valley.
It doesn’t suit almost anyone on a normal city break. Sleeping options are thin, dining amounts to one or two restaurants, and reaching Ville Haute requires a bus change. Choose it deliberately, not by accident.
Price and practicalities
Guesthouses and short-term rentals dominate at 100-150 EUR. There is no chain hotel here.
Walkable: the small Saint-Hubert chapel, the riverside cycle path along the Alzette toward Dommeldange and Beggen, and the steep footpath up to Kirchberg's northern edge (about 12 minutes uphill, 6 down). Bus 25 links to Gare Centrale in 20 minutes.

Are there restaurants nearby?
One or two in the village and more in Dommeldange, one bus stop north. For choice, head up to Kirchberg.
